There is a self-contained cottage at one end of the property with 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and en suite shower one with 2 single beds.

Steps from the back of this cottage lead onto a small balcony with steps down to the garden. There is an upstairs bathroom and large sitting room with kitchenette.


The middle part of the house can also be used as a separate cottage with 3 bedrooms, an upstairs WC and an en suite shower in one of the 3 bedrooms.

Separate kitchen, shower room with WC on the ground floor, large sitting / dining room. This area of the house has a connecting double doors and leads through to a huge sitting room ( formerly cowshed) with exposed stone walls and woodburning fire set in the wall.

Upstairs 2 double bedrooms, large storage room and large bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower. The entire house is furnished with antique or repro antique Breton style furniture.

The house is situated in a quiet hamlet 25 mins from Mont St Michel, nearest village is Tremblay 5 mins.

It has about half acre of garden in 3 parts.

It is off the road ( a quiet country road) and has 2 large lawns at the front of the house one with a working well on.

The road side of the house has a large lawn (across the road) with a yet to be rennovated huge Normandy bread oven).

There are uninterrupted views across the fields. Parking for at least 6 cars and the neighbours have space they are willing to give to parking.


The property is currently used as 2 gites with the owners living in the larger part of the house.

There are numerous walks around the area and lots of wooded areas. Fougeres 20 minutes away has a stunning medieval castle. Most of the nearby towns have beautiful castles and churches and there are some picturesque villages.

The town of St Malo with long sandy beaches is 40 minute drive. There are several granite quarries near by and one in particular is full of sculptures and the sides of the quarry it self have been carved.

As the property is close to Normandy it benefits from being near the beaches of Granville and Deauville and the D-day landing beaches.
